     Mental Health

So, how often do you call someone "lazy", "distracted", "whimsical" or even a "fool" ? You do so when you see peculiar reactions among certain people detaching themselves from the activities of regular pleasure. One who sits in a corner doing nothing, talking nothing, crying or just displaying a  :(   is considered to be a dysfunctional entity. It seems as if he/she can do every damn thing in this world, yet just wants to sit and not move for good life.

We connect displeasure to physical ailments. If a person has, say - a broken knee or cancer, he/she "can" remain sad, it's okay. Distressing situations limited to time are given the green signal for their prisoners to be upset, grumpy and sad beyond measure. Just because they warranty death or partial stagnation, they warrant the person to be revolving around the idea of inexistence.

While, this is surely not the case with mental and emotional health. A breakup problem ?! Oh you fool, get over it. A fight ?! Chill. A heated argument ? You're crazy enough to care. Yes. I'm crazy enough to consider that people will consider these issues important someday. Emotions and them affecting brain have  NOTHING  got to do with why a human cannot be that interactive, happy and available as he/she ought to.  Yes, hopefully the readers have understood the sarcasm.

Mental Health, Happiness and stability are very crucial for the physical compartments assigned to the above mentioned traits. If a person is  not active, he/she can't simply be tagged as a lazy, mediocre and quaint one. Lack of attention doesn't mean that the person is stupid. Wanting attention and care does not imply that he/she is clingy. And defaming them repeatedly for their "inattentive", "cynical" and "unhappy" behaviour is just as harmful as raping their souls. Those who cry relentlessly even at a pinprick, should be taken very seriously and with extreme love and care. Those not allowing love to care for them, should be showered with the feelings.

They who do not say it directly, speak paragraphs and essays indirectly. It is their vain near-dear ones, the society in which they live ; that somehow do not understand how it is to fight a thousand demons inside the brain, lose to each and display a big smile on the face, asking every tear to run back to the Iris. What victory will the normal people get, by harassing such fragile souls to the point of extreme incapability and inconspicuousness ?!

All we can offer these beautiful set of people is our love, time and care. Lots of that. So that they feel an urge to get up and fight like warriors, or just like themselves. Let's all pledge to spread sunshine in the lives of miserable yet miraculous homo sapiens.

Love,
